View PowerPath host initiators

PowerPath is host-based software that provides automated data path management and load-balancing capabilities for heterogeneous server, network, and storage deployed in physical and virtual environments.

This feature is not supported by storage systems running HYPERMAX OS 5977.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select Hosts > PowerPath to open the PowerPath Hosts list view.
  3. Click the number next to Initiators to open the PowerPath Host Initiators list view.

    The following properties display:

    • Name—The PowerPath hostname
    • Type—Initiator type, for example, Fibre
    • Host—The name of the PowerPath hosts
    • Host Groups—The number of PowerPath host groups
    • Masking Views—The number of masking views

    Click An icon showing the letter i to view the following additional details:

    • Name—The PowerPath host name
    • Type—Initiator type, for example, Fibre
    • Host—The name of the PowerPath hosts
    • Host Groups—The number of PowerPath host groups
    • Initiator Paths—The number of initiator paths
    • Masking Views—The number of masking views
    • Storage Groups—The number of storage groups
    • Volumes—The number of volumes
